Nearly five years ago, I was sitting in my home in Texas during the height of COVID-19. Social distancing, lockdowns, and remote work were in full effect. Questions filled the air: “What’s going to happen?” “Is this the new normal?” “What do we do now?” Conversations, news reports, and social media were saturated with uncertainty.
In that season, people turned in many directions—some to politicians and government officials, some to fear and isolation, and others to faith. My heart was heavy watching many drift away from full dependence on the God who alone offers peace, hope, safety, and truth.
During that time, God stirred in me a desire to encourage and strengthen the faith of fellow believers. That desire birthed a dream—one that has now become reality. Five years later, I’m excited to launch andrewmcguire.org.
God has given us a clear roadmap for life: His Word. It’s proven, dependable, and trustworthy. As 2 Peter 1:3 reminds us, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” There is nothing we’ll face in life that the Bible does not speak to. Sadly, we often seek guidance elsewhere—through the news, social media, or friends—when God’s Word should always be our first and final authority.
When I moved from Texas to Connecticut, God laid Titus 1:5 on my heart: “…that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting…” That calling still fuels me today. My desire is to help others grow in their walk with Christ through biblical guidance and practical resources.
This website is designed to be a Christ-centered resource for all believers—whether you’re in ministry or not, a teen or adult, single or married, new in the faith or seasoned in service. My goal is to:
- Share regular devotionals from what God is teaching me personally
- Provide ministry tools and lessons learned through years of hands-on experience
- Feature articles from others who have impacted my life and ministry
- Offer practical, biblical encouragement to help you keep pressing toward the mark
