Youth Alive Teen Ministry at White Oak Baptist Church serves students in grades 6–12, offering Bible-centered teaching, engaging activities, and a welcoming community. Teens meet Sundays at 5 PM and Wednesdays at 7PM for lessons, games, and fellowship designed to strengthen their faith and friendships. Led by Pastor Andrew and a caring team, Youth Alive helps teens navigate life with biblical clarity and encourages them to grow spiritually in a safe, supportive environment.
Ways to Be Involved
Teen Growth Groups are designed to help young people grow in their walk with God through practical Bible teaching, discussion, and encouragement. Each group gives teens the opportunity to learn truth, build godly friendships, and apply Scripture to everyday life.
Our Wednesday Teen Bible Study is taught by Brother Mike Scarpetti and gives teens a midweek opportunity to be strengthened from God’s Word. This time is focused on clear Bible teaching, spiritual growth, and helping young people develop a stronger foundation for their faith.
Champions Club meets on Fridays and gives teens a fun, Christ-centered environment to build friendships, enjoy activities, and be encouraged spiritually. These nights are designed to create connection, strengthen relationships, and point teens toward living for Christ.
Teen Soulwinning gives young people the opportunity to put their faith into action by sharing the gospel and inviting others to church. Through outreach, teens learn compassion for the lost, confidence in witnessing, and the importance of fulfilling the Great Commission.
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12
